The neo race is the inevitable race of the year § Based in UK, it group all best drivers of the world!
The track was amazing and very difficult but it's great experience to work on the development of the Spirit in these conditions. Stéphane Mateo (Spirit – GO – ART) made the travel for 4 days of race. After qualifcations, he was in 1/256 and he drove until 1/32, that proved Spirit is reliable in all kinds of conditions. He gained 45 places between sunday and monday. See you at Cogolin for the 3^rd round of French Championship !
La Neo Race est la course incontournable de l’année ! Un nombre impressionnant de top pilotes mondiaux y participent.
La piste est très impressionnante et dure pour les mécaniques. Un excellent terrain de travail et de développement pour le Spirit. Stéphane Mateo (Spirit – GO – ART) a bien bossé Durant ces 4 jours de courses. Après les qualifications, il se retrouve en 256^ème de finale et remonte jusqu’en 32^ème. Cela prouve la robustesse du Spirit dans ces conditions. Une remontée de 45 places entre le dimanche et le lundi. Rendez-vous à Cogolin pour la 3^ème manche de championnat de France 2011.

Le team Hobbytech était présent ce week end lors de la 2ème manche du championnat de France Elite à Reims. Un grand rendez vous avec des top pilotes et une meteo exceptionnelle pour la saison...

Report: French Championship 2011, Round 2, Reims

During the first heat of qualification, Nico Rodriguez was on top, took the 4^th place with his Spirit – RB – ProCircuit but he did a mistake on next others heats. He finished on the 8^th position after 3 rounds,. Bastien Ferrato (Spirit – Falcon OS – ProCircuit) made a direct ¼ final. Carl Maignien (Spirit – Go Engines – ART) in 1/8final and Lionel Labbez (Spirit – nVision – Aka) in 1/16 final.

Lionel Labbez goes back up to 1/16 final in 1/8 final, but a flammed out couldn’t to ran more. Carl had a good drive in this 1/8 final, but he could’t went back up in ¼ final. Bastien Ferrato took the 4^th place and in the last lap to this ¼ final, he made a mistake in the whoops and he couldn’t run on the ½ final.

Congratulations to Nicolas Rodriguez for his 4^th final position ! He takes the 2^nd place of the 2011 French Championship

Lors de la premiere manche de qualification, Nico Rodriguez en forme fait le 4^ème temps avec son Spirit – RB – ProCircuit mais quelques fautes dans les 2 suivantes ne permettrons pas à Nicolas de faire mieux que 8eme des qualifications. Bastien Ferrato (Spirit – FalconOS – ProCircuit) se qualifie directement en ¼ de finale, Carl Maignien (Spirit – Go Engines – ART) en 1/8 de finale et Lionel Labbez (Spirit – nVision – Aka) en 1/16^ème de finale.

Lionel était remonté de son 1/16^ème de finale mais malheureusement en 1/8^ème un calage lors du ravitaillement ne lui permettra pas de remonter en 1/4. Carl, malgré une très belle course est resté à la porte du ¼ de finale. Bastien Ferrato était en 4^ème place dans son ¼ de finale, et une faute lors du dernier tour dans les rondins lui a couté la remontée en demi.

Félicitations à Nicolas Rodriguez qui fini donc 4^ème de cette course ! Il est actuellement en 2^ème position du Championnat de France 2011.

Report: French South West regional championship, Round 3, Toulouse April 17th, 2011

3rd of French South West regional championship at Toulouse. Many French top drivers for this race to have training for the French Championship the next weekend. Nicolas Rodriguez (Spirit – RB – ProCircuit) won the race and Stéphane Mateo (Spirit – GO – ART) finished 3^rd, good job for Hobbytech team drivers ! In Brushless class, Virginie Vélu won the final with her STR8 EP – Xtronics- ART. See you next weekend at the French Championship of Reims and at the Neo Race !

Troisième manche du championnat régional à Toulouse (ligue 14). De nombreux top pilotes se sont réunis à cette course pour s’entrainer en vue du championnat de France à Reims le weekend prochain. Nicolas Rodriguez (Spirit – RB – ProCircuit) remporte la course et Stéphane Mateo (Spirit – GO – ART) termine à la troisième position, bon travail pour les pilotes du team Hobbytech ! En Brushless, Virginie Vélu remporte la finale avec son STR8 EP – Xtronics – ART. Rendez-vous le weekend prochain au CF Elite de Reims ainsi qu’à la Neo Race !
