Report: French Championship 2011, Round 3, Cogolin

The team Hobbytech was at the third round of French Championship at Cogolin (28 and 29 May) east south of France, one of the track of Yannick Aigoin. Heat, sun, dust and stones were catchwords of the weekend.

Le team Hobbytech était présent à la 3^ème manche du championnat de France le week end des 28 et 29 mai 2011. Sur la piste de Cogolin, dans le sud est de la France, une des pistes d’entrainement de Yannick Aigoin.

After qualifications, Nicolas Rodriguez (Spirit – RB – ProCircuit) took a place on semi final, Stephane Mateo (Spirit – Go Engines – ART) Bastien Ferrato (Spirit – Falcon OS – ProCircuit) in ¼ and Lionel Labbez (Spirit – nVision – Aka) and Carl Maignien (Spirit – Go Engines – ART)in 1/8. Bastien Ferrato is more and more at ease and trusted in his Spirit and made a good ¼ to allow him to take a place in semi final ! Good progression ! Unfortunately, Nicolas Rodriguez flamed out in ½ so he didn't fight for the final...No finales this time for Hobbytech drivers but many work on the car and in the team promise a lot of future good races...

And, in 2wd Class, congratulations at Samy Fèvre (Hobbytech-OS), he won this race after really battle with Christophe Dupuis.

See you next weekend at Lyon for the Euro B !

Après les qualifications, Nicolas Rodriguez (Spirit – RB – ProCircuit) se place en demi directe, Stephane Mateo (Spirit – Go Engines – ART) et Bastien Ferrato Spirit – Falcon OS – ProCircuit) se classent directement en ¼ de finale. Tandis que Lionel Labbez (Spirit – nVision – Aka) et Carl Maignien (Spirit – Go Engines – ART) se qualifient en 1/8^ème de finale. Bastien Ferrato en pleine confiance et de plus en plus à l’aise avec sa voiture, remonte du ¼ de finale en demi finale, un mauvais départ lors de sa demie lui empechera toute chance de remonter en finale. De son coté, Nicolas Rodriguez cale à la sortie du 1^er ravitaillement alors qu’il se trouvait dans les 5 premiers, malheureusement il ne pourra pas remonter en finale. Pas de finale pour l’equipe sur cette manche, mais un bon travail éffectué sur les châssis qui promet de futurs bons résultats.

En categories 4x2, il faut noter la victoire de Samy Fèvre (Hobbytech-OS), après une bataille avec Christophe Dupuis, félicitations à Samy et son papa mécano !!

During the second round of Italian Championship at Monsummano Terme, our driver, Tommaso Andreuccetti made encouraging race with 195 drivers. After a passage by ¼, he achieved a place for the semi finale with his Spirit. Unfortunately, he mess the finale for 3/10 seconds after twenty minutes...but it's a positive race for the future !

Lors de la seconde manche du championnat Italien à Monsummano Terme, notre pilote, Tommaso Andreuccetti, réalisa une course encourageante pour l'avenir avec 195 pilotes. Après un passage par les quarts de finale, il accéda à la demi-finale avec son Spirit. Malheureusement, il échoue aux portes de la finale pour 3/10 de secondes après 20 minutes...ce qui reste néanmoins de bon augure pour le futur !

Report: French South East regional championship, Round 4, Antibes May 8th, 2011

The 4^th round of Sud East french regional championship was at Antibes.
The Antibes’s track is very technical and difficult for the mechanic (there is a long very long jump).

In Open class, two drivers of Hobbytech Team, Lionel Labbez (Spirit-NVision-Merlin) et Carl Maignien (Spirit-GO-Merlin ) took the 1^st and 2^nd place in qualifications, and finished 1^st and 2^nd after the final.

In Promo class, the young driver Mathieu Estella (Spirit-Nova) finished 8^th, after one flame out in main final.

Very good results for the Hobbytech boys, see you later at 3nd round of 2011 French championship at Cogolin.

La 4^ème manche du championnat de ligue 11 à eu lieu à Antibes le dimanche 8 mai 2011.

Le circuit d’Antibes est très technique et très exigeant pour les châssis (notamment avec son jump de plus de 10 mètres de long). . En catégorie Open les pilotes Hobbytech Lionel Labbez (Spirit-NVision-Merlin) et Carl Maignien (Spirit-GO-Merlin), ne laisseront aucune chance à leurs adversaires en finissant respectivement 1^er et 2^ème, aussi bien en qualification que lors de la finale. Bravo a eux !!
En catégorie Promo, Mathieu Estela (Spirit-Nova) va de plus en plus vite avec son Spirit. Il finira à la 8^ème place de la finale suite à plusieurs calage.
Rendez vous à la 3^ème manche de Championnat de France Elite à Cogolin.
