Wilkommen auf Sand Am Main ! The European Championship 2011 took place in Germany, during the first week of august. The team Hobbytech was there to support Nicolas Rodriguez and his Spirit – RB – ProCircuit...
Bienvenue à Sand Am Main ! Le championnat d'Europe 2011 a eu lieu en Allemagne, durant la première semaine d'août. L'équipe Hobbytech était bien sûr présente pour apporter son support à Nicolas Rodriguez et son Spirit – RB – ProCircuit....

Report: Euro A Championship 2011, Sand Am Main August 2-6th, 2011

The track of Sand was small but hard with jumps, differents adherences and altitudes. The weather was good, sun, warm temperatures until thursday...for the first day of qualification, many rain and mud, so conditions were really hard for drivers and mechanicals. We had sun for last 2 days of finals.

During practices, Nicolas made good times and was in the top 20. Unfortunately, with the rain in qualification, he didn't have good profil tires so he will be classified on 1/16 final.

On saturday, last day of this Euro, Nicolas Rodriguez made a bad start with many other drivers. He went back when he flamed out during the refueling...he saw all chances of 1/8 took of when he flamed out again before the end of the race.

No luck for Hobbytech and Nicolas this year, but we learnt more and more during this Euro to work again and again on the car to put it on the top.

Rendezvous at the French Cup at Pertuis (South of France) on the end of august !

La piste de Sand était assez petite mais difficile avec pas mal de bosses, différentes surfaces et dénivelés. La météo fut bonne, soleil, chaleur, jusqu'à jeudi...pour la première journée de qualification, beaucoup de pluie et de boue sur la piste, les conditions étaient donc très difficiles pour les pilotes et la mécanique. Nous avons quand même eu du soleil pour les 2 dernières journées de course.

Pendant les essais, Nicolas signera de bons temps et sera dans le top 20. Malheureusement, avec la pluie des qualifications, il ne réussira pas à trouver le bon profil de pneus adéquat aux conditions de pluie, et se retrouvera en 1/16.

Samedi, dernier jour de l'Euro, et l'heure du 1/16, Nicolas Rodriguez fera un mauvais départ avec pas mal de pilotes entre ses roues. Alors qu'il remontait, calage au plein...il a donc vu toutes ses chances de remonter lorsqu'il calera une seconde fois avant la fin de la course.

Pas de chance pour Hobbytech et Nicolas cette année, mais nous aurons appris de plus en plus de choses pendant cet Euro pour travailler encore plus sur la voiture.

Rendez-vous à la Coupe de France de Pertuis, fin août !

Report: French Championship 2011, Round 4, St Quentin

The fourth round of French Championship took place at Saint-Quentin, north of France on a very difficult big track with big jumps, wonderful US style track !

After qualifications, Nicolas Rodriguez (Spirit – RB – ProCircuit) was 9^th , Bastien Ferrato (Spirit – OS Falcon – ProCircuit) 27^th , and Stéphane Mateo (Spirit – GO – ART) 36^th .

New final for Nicolas Rodriguez ! He was a long time at the 5^th position but in the 5 last minutes, he had a problem so he finished 8^th. Congratulations for this new result !

In 2WD, podium for Samy Fevre (STR8 – OS) with a second place and 11^th place for Yohann Mule (Spirit – RB).

See you in August at Sand (Germany) for the Euro A with Nicolas Rodriguez !

La quatrième manche de championnat de France Elite s’est déroulée à St Quentin, dans le nord de la France. Un tracé très agréable et technique, avec des sauts à l’américaine qui a fait l’unanimité.

Après les qualifications, Nicolas Rodriguez (Spirit – RB – ProCircuit) se classe 9ème, Bastien Ferrato (Spirit – OS Falcon – ProCircuit) 27ème, and Stéphane Mateo (Spirit – GO – ART) 36 ème.

Nouvelle finale pour Nicolas Rodriguez ! Il restera longtemps à la 5^ème place mais un souci mécanique le fait rétrograder à la 8^ème place finale. Encore bravo pour ce nouveau résultat !!

En 4x2, un nouveau podium pour Samy Fèvre (STR8 – OS) qui finit deuxième et une 11^ème place pour Yohann Mule (Spirit – RB- Proline).

Prochain rendez-vous en aout à Sand (Allemagne) avec la participation de Nicolas Rodriguez à l’Euro A.

Report: Euro B Championship 2011, Lyon

The 5^th edition of Euro B was at Lyon (France) with all best “B”drivers of different Europeans countries. Naturally, Hobbytech was there to support their French and Belgium drivers, Bastien Ferrato (Spirit – OS Falcon – ProCircuit) and Jean-Yves Könings (Spirit – OS - ProCircuit ).
La 5ème édition de l’euro B a eu lieu à Lyon (France) avec tous les meilleurs pilotes B des championnats européens. Naturellemnt, Hobbytech était présent pour aider et conseiller ses pilotes francais et belges : Bastien Ferrato (Spirit – OS Falcon – ProCircuit) et Jean-Yves Könings (Spirit – OS - ProCircuit ).
